We rent a first floor vacation apartment, which has 66 square meters of living space and a separate entrance.
In the immediate vicinity is the Westerwaldsteig (2 minutes walk) or in the neighboring village a 16 km long, well-developed bike and hiking trail and only 8 km away the Holzbach Gorge in Gemünden. Brandscheid is an excellent starting point for excursions to the Westerwald Lake District, Lake Wiesen, the Hachenburg Landscape Museum, the Stöffel Park and much more.
