The trail leads us from Hassel Monastery across the species-rich meadows near the monastery to the habitats of protected plant and animal species that characterise the Birkenbach floodplain.
Embedded in the old cultural landscape, the Birkenbach meanders through a jewel of ecological diversity.
The excursion will be led by Jessica Gelhausen from the district's Lower Nature Conservation Authority and nature conservation manager Linda Bödger.
Participation in the excursion is free of charge. Registration is not required
