From the Cologne region, you can travel comfortably by train, the Hessische Landesbahn stops here regularly during the day.

Welcome to the Westerwald. Marienthal is an oasis of peace. The house is situated in an idyllic location with great hiking opportunities in unspoilt nature. The WesterwaldSteig trail leads directly past the house. The former Franciscan monastery with its pilgrimage church and historic Stations of the Cross is in the immediate vicinity.
