The Jugendmusikverein Holler 1995 e. V. cordially invites you to be part of this certainly extraordinary concert experience on 14 March 2024 in Montabaur.
"An internationally acclaimed discography rounds off the extremely positive overall impression of this musical figurehead of the Federal Republic of Germany", says the detailed portrait of the Siegburg-based Bundeswehr Music Corps. The orchestra can now look back on more than 60 years of successful military music activities. Accustomed to a wide variety of tasks of all sizes, from glittering state receptions, honours for Federal Presidents and Chancellors and other major protocol services to large concerts and the smallest chamber music events, the music corps has played on countless occasions and is thus constantly in the spotlight at the highest level at home and abroad. On Thursday, 14 March 2024 from 19:30, you can also experience the orchestra live at Haus Mons Tabor in Montabaur. As guests of the Holler Youth Music Association on the occasion of its 25th anniversary, the musical professionals will present a cross-section of their repertoire. One of the 60 or so musicians is particularly looking forward to the concert: Christoph Engers from Holler - who lives in Dreikirchen - has been a permanent fixture in the orchestra for decades as a clarinettist and not least as a pianist and is now returning to Montabaur for another "home game" after 2011 and 2015. Tickets are available at www.musikverein-holler.de and at the tourist information centre at Großer Markt 12 in Montabaur.
