Aquarelle: "Die Stimmung des Moments" im Café Kohleschuppen

Description

Sabine Hilscher (Windeck-Herchen) has been intensively involved in watercolour painting since 1994. Whether she captures city views with a light hand, radiant bouquets of flowers, imaginative landscapes or even a still life with a pumpkin: Her paintings are appealing. Anyone interested can get an idea of this at her exhibition in Stöffel Park, which opens on Sunday, 14 May 2023 at 4 pm. All interested parties are invited to the vernissage at the Café Kohleschuppen! The watercolours will then be on display during the opening hours of Stöffel Park until Sunday, 25 June 2023.

The mood of the moment

Sabine Hilscher puts her relationship to painting into words as follows: When I stand by the river, I am always overcome by a certain pensiveness and melancholy. Very often in summer I sit with my painting utensils by the Sieg, where I have lived for over 30 years. First I observe the water, how it flows and splashes, how the sun's rays reflect on it, how the birds and ducks flutter back and forth and communicate. verything about this river is in motion and constantly changing. The mood can change from one moment to the next. I am particularly referring to the incidence of light and passing clouds. This inspires me to take up a brush and capture the experience with colours on paper. It is very important to me to capture the mood of the moment. The victory is embedded in a beautiful, I would even say romantic landscape. Together, this creates a complementary unity that I love to portray in paintings. Bringing paper to life It is always a special feeling for me to breathe a soul into a white sheet of paper with a few brushstrokes and thus bring it to life. In this moment I am deeply connected with nature and all its adversities.

I am grateful to be able to express this feeling in my watercolours and to communicate with the viewer of my paintings in this way. The artistic life of Sabine Hilscher Sabine Hilscher expanded her knowledge again and again through numerous painting trips and seminars at home and abroad with well-known watercolourists. To this day, she continues to perfect her work with various teachers. Among other things, she is a course instructor at the VHS Rhein-Sieg, works for artistravel as a lecturer and for numerous online courses and painting trips.
